Never touch the volume again.
Viblyy turns your music down when your AI finishes an answer, and brings it back when you send your next message.
Practise the change, not the strum. Pick two chords, say G and C, and move between them slowly for a minute without playing a note. Keep the fingers that stay put planted. Once the switch is clean, add one down-strum on the first beat. Speed arrives on its own.
Works with anything that plays in Chrome: music, radio, podcasts, video.
Nothing to set up. A little to tune.
When it gets quiet
When it’s done, so the drop tells you the answer is ready. Or as it arrives, if you read along.
How quiet
Anywhere from 1 to 60% of what was playing. Or pause instead.
You’re in charge
Pause the music yourself and Viblyy leaves it alone. Turn it up mid-answer and Viblyy goes along.
Nothing you read or type leaves your computer.
Viblyy has to know when an answer starts and when it ends. That is all it takes from the page.
Read the privacy policyThe timing, not the words
That you sent a message, that the answer began, that it finished. Your prompts and the answers are never stored and never sent.
One request, with nothing in it
About twice a day the extension fetches the list of services from viblyy.com. No identifier goes with it, and nothing about you.
No analytics, no ads
No analytics, no error reports, no advertising. The extension has no account. The desktop apps have one, and nothing about your music or your chats is in it.
Questions
Is there an extension that turns my music down while an AI answers?
Yes. Viblyy is a free Chrome extension that turns down the music playing in another tab when Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Copilot finishes an answer, and brings it back up when you send your next message. You never touch the volume.
Does it work with Claude and Claude Code?
Yes. The extension works with Claude, Claude Code and Cowork on claude.ai, and with ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot, in a Chrome tab. For Claude Code in a terminal or an editor, the Claude desktop app, the ChatGPT app and Codex, there is Viblyy Desktop for Windows and Mac.
What does it turn down?
Anything that plays in a Chrome tab: music, radio, podcasts, video. The large music sites are followed from the start. On any other site, open Viblyy once while it plays and choose Allow, and that site is turned down from then on. For programs outside the browser there is Viblyy Desktop for Windows and Mac.
Does it work with the Spotify desktop app?
Yes, with Viblyy Desktop. A browser extension cannot change the volume of a program outside the browser, so the Windows app turns down any program playing sound, and the Mac app turns down Spotify and Apple Music. In the browser, the extension handles the Spotify web player at open.spotify.com.
Can it pause the music instead of turning it down?
Yes. Choose how low the music goes, from 1 to 60% of what was playing, or have it pause. You also choose whether it gets quiet as the answer starts arriving or when it is done.
Is it free, and what does it collect?
Viblyy is free, with no account, no ads and no analytics. It looks at the AI page only to tell when an answer starts and ends, and nothing you read or type leaves your computer.
Play something. Ask something.
The extension is free, and works as soon as it is installed.
